Marge Rogers is the co-author of the veterinary behaviorist recommended book, Puppy Socialization: What It Is and How to Do It. She holds certifications through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA), is a Certified Control Unleashed Instructor and a Certified Fear Free Professional. Marge is a popular speaker and has presented at Conference Unleashed, NC State College of Veterinary Medicine (Behavior), Appalachian State University (Veterinary Technology Program), local veterinary clinics, libraries, businesses, and dog sports clubs.

Maggie has the gold standard in trainer certifications. She is the only trainer in Ashe County with this nationally recognized certification. She partners with local veterinarians and other pet care professionals to ensure good training and behavioral care for your pet.
Maggie and her dog Arlo (pictured above) have earned multiple levels of the versatility award (for competing and earning titles in different canine sports) from the Airedale Club of America.

Maggie is a great teacher! She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s in Biology and English and completed the coursework for a Master’s in Education at Appalachian State University.
